The day is also an opportunity to raise awareness and support for programs providing essential needs to women and children experiencing poverty throughout Southeast Michigan.
All Ages. All Abilities.
5K Run
From Ford Field Park, onto the Rouge River Gateway Trail, and past the University of Michigan – Dearborn and the Henry Ford Estate, the Zaman 5K provides a scenic view of one of Dearborn’s most beautiful pathways.
5K Walk
Walkers follow a scenic route along the Rouge River Gateway Trail, passing through the wooded paths near the University of Michigan – Dearborn and alongside the historic grounds of the Henry Ford Estate. It's a relaxing way to enjoy nature and connect with others.
Kids’ Runs
Kids aged 2 - 4 get to feel the excitement of a big event during our 100-meter Tots Trot.
Then, children aged 5 - 12 can give it all they’ve got as the crowd cheers them on for our 3/4 mile Kids Run!
Be An Angel
In partnership with Ainsley's Angels in Michigan, we’re proud to make our 5K run accessible and inclusive by pairing volunteer runners with differently abled participants for a joyful, race-day experience.
Girls Running Program
The Let's Move! Girls Running Program is an 8-week training program for girls aged 8 to 11 that builds confidence, healthy habits, and teamwork through fun group runs and activities - all leading up to a finish at the Run Walk Picnic!
Come for the Run/Walk.
Stay for the Picnic.
After the run and walk, stay for our signature picnic in the park with burgers hot off the grill, falafel sandwiches, and frozen treats. Plus activities for children and adults, including pony rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, basketball, tug-of-war, and more.
Everything is included with your paid admission. Enjoy the day with your friends and family.
